WHO WE ARE:

Alma Feeley, Managing Director

Alma has nearly twenty years experience in PR that includes six years as senior consultant with Edelman, the biggest PR company in the world, where she directed PR campaigns for international brands such as Diageo, Vodafone, Heineken & Pillsbury and national brands such as Glanbia Foods, Siúcra, The Fitzwilliam Hotel and the National Museum of Ireland.


In 2003 she established Midas PR, which has won several awards, including runner-up for Marketing Service Provider of the Year 2011 by the Marketing Institute of Ireland (SE). Alma directs all of Midas PR clients, which include international, national and start-up companies across a broad range of sectors, including: corporate, hospitality, fashion, travel, food & beverages and business to business.


Alma has twice been shortlisted by the PRCA (Public Relations Consultants Association) for excellence in PR practice and by Business2Arts for Best Sponsorship in the Community (AT Cross). She is a member of the PRII (Public Relations Institute of Ireland), the NUJ (National Union of Journalists) and a former lecturer in PR at The Fitzwilliam Institute. She served as a board member of the Irish chapter of HSMAI (Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International) and was one of the founders of the Savour Kilkenny Food Festival. She is mentor to and provides PR clinics for a number of county enterprise boards and regularly guest lectures and contributes to publications on PR issues.



Orla O’Malley, Marketing & Event Management Director.

Orla has twenty years of international experience in strategic planning, event management and marketing.


She spent 17 years working in New York, using her skills in event management and marketing to facilitate Irish-USA relations with a roster of clients that included the Ireland U.S. Council and the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Returning to Ireland, Orla worked as International Development Director for the Volvo Ocean Race Campaign, undertaking stakeholder engagement, marketing and event coordination with the Irish Diaspora in various port stopovers such as Cape Town, Singapore and Boston.


Orla maintains her U.S. business clients in addition to servicing a portfolio of national clients such as Headstrong – National Centre for Youth Mental Health and Relationships Ireland.  Orla developed the inaugural Westport Food Festival as well as the Meet on the Reek festival and continues to work as festival director for both initiatives.
